St Ann's Garrison Roleplay and Wargames Club, Kings Lynn

All about St Ann's Garrison RPG & Wargames Club

St Ann's Garrison RPG & wargames Club is a community group which has been running on Sundays for several years now. However we have only been running sessions from Fairstead Community Centre since 2004/2005 as before that we were based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) Social Club.

Our group is based in a large hall and there is a shop opposite. The automated doors at the front of the Community Centre remain locked for security reasons during sessions and access is via the doors at the rear of the building (see picture, right). There is also a large car park with CCTV cameras adjacent to the Community Centre which offers secure, free car parking to everyone.

Sessions are on Sundays - we usually start at 2pm and go on until about 6.30pm. New members are always welcome to come along to our group. We don't even mind if you just want to watch to start with! Sessions cost £1.50 per person although new members get the first two sessions for FREE!
Our members take it in turns to run different RPG games so games can vary from week to week. Usually there will be at least 2 or 3 different RPGs running.

We play a wide variety of tabletop RPGs (including Buffy, Cyberpunk, Marvel, White Wolf, AD & D, Rifts, Serenity, Star Wars and several others) as well as enjoy the odd game of MTG and occasionally Warhammer.

Our sessions are very laid back and informal and members aren't expected to turn up every week without fail - obviously we hope you'd enjoy coming along to our group so much that you would..

Our group is aimed at everyone from older children and teenagers to adults and hopefully offers something entertaining and fun for local people to do. Or even if you aren't local but are a keen roleplayer without a local group of your own - you are welcome to come along for a taster session.

Please note although the people responsible for running the group have all got recent CRB checks, any younger children who attend our group should always be accompanied by a responsible adult.
If you fancy having a go at roleplaying, whether you are a complete novice or a seasoned pro then why not pop in during one of our sessions. Or if you've got a query please don't hesitate to drop us a line using the contact us button to submit a form. We'll get back to you as quickly as we can. Or give us a ring: Call Steve 07704161890
